Hello! How can we help you?
Why is one front wheel on the Veloped higher than the other?
One of the front wheels on the Veloped is lifted when it is in city mode. An adjustment handle on the front wheel (between the wheels) can be shifted between two settings.
Upper position:
Offers easy turning with retained climbing capacity.
When the wheel is lifted, the lever is in the lower position making one of the wheels higher than the other. It still offers good climbing capability where it can easily overcome an obstacle. In the lifted mode, it is easy to steer.
Lower position:
Offers increased climbing capacity, suspension on uneven surfaces and higher directional stability. The downside is that it might be harder to steer the Veloped, especially evident on the tarmac.
